With the new digital nomad trend gaining traction, plenty of people can retain the same job while doing their job remotely. The weather, the people and the overall vibe makes Costa Rica a desirable place to vacation and live.

Climate in Costa Rica

With an average year-round temperature of 80°F, Costa Rica has a subtropical climate, with two distinct seasons: The dry summer season that generally lasts from December until roughly April or May, and the rainy season lasting from May until November, with many preferring the latter “green season” for how lush and beautiful all of the flora and fauna look.

Here in Herradura Beach you get the beach, sand, surf and sun that everyone desires, but you also get the beautiful backdrop of the mountain with quick and easy access to go explore the rainforest and waterfalls, when that summer heat kicks in.

The Great Outdoors

One of Costa Rica’s best features is it’s biodiversity and beautiful terrain. Beaches, rainforests and volcanoes are all easily accessible and provide a plethora of options and activities for all ages. Hiking, kayaking, ziplining, and snorkeling are all favorite activities.

Costa Rica is an angler’s paradise, with many opportunities for deep-sea ocean fishing. Los Sueños Resort & Marina is the premier offshore sport-fishing destination in all of Central America, Mexico, or the Bahamas

New Digital Nomad Law Passed in Costa Rica. Remote Workers can extend their stay for one year!

For years many "digital nomads" have come and gone enjoying the beauty of Costa Rica while remaining active in their jobs and careers, allowing them to work remotely.  Now more than ever, businesses are allowing their employees to have flexible work schedules and in perfect timing, Costa Rica has passed a new law making it much easier for these digital nomads to remain here for a longer period of time. This new law will grant year-long visas in Costa Rica for these qualifying remote workers. "Remote workers can obtain a permit to stay for one year in Costa Rica, extendable for one additional year. They will also have the possibility of opening local bank accounts and can drive in Costa Rica using their country’s license, among other benefits."
