The Los Sueños Signature Triple Crown second leg was a lot of fun, with an amazing bite, as usual the fishing out of the resort is better than expected and one of the best in the world, Winning Team Galati with 37 sailfish released on the first day winning the daily, for a total of 81 sailfish and 1 marlin at the end of day 1, Fish Tank in second place with a total 82 sails and Tarheel in third place with a total of 76 sails. The fleet released 2064 billfish in 3 days.
Team Sea Angel caught 26 for 26 sails on day second, winning the daily and celebrating Capt BC's birthday on the same day.
Right before the tournament, boats started reporting a good bite of blue and striped marlin, with many boats catching and releasing 15-plus sails a day.
The Hoo’s Your Daddy caught a super slam, 5 sails, 1 blue marlin, 1 striped and 1 black marlin in one day.
Dragin Fly had a few double digit days of sailfish releases, plus a marlin and some really nice tuna.
Epic released 2 of 3 blue marlin in a half a day of fishing, and caught a couple of mahi for dinner.
Maverick's newest yacht, Top fly, a 36-foot catching machine, caught 11 sails and 1 mahi on their very first trip. The new owners should always be guaranteed a billfish on their first sea trial and they got what they wanted and more.
