With Costa Rica opening its borders to the world on November 1st, safety is a part of everyone’s life. Protocols are in place and we are ready to share the calm, endless summer of our Central Pacific Coast.
We all wonder, what’s open? What restaurants are open, is my favorite happy hour spot still there?
The answer is HRG staff is here to help answer all of those questions! With that in mind, we’ve checked on the status of restaurants, tour operators, boutiques, souvenir shops, and more, verify which ones have reopened, which ones are returning, and which ones haven’t announced yet.
Let’s start at Los Sueños Resort, at the moment Dolce Vita is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving their usual menu and some of our favorite bar items from The Hookup Bar. Lanterna Italian Steakhouse is open for lunch and dinner, and Bambú Sushi & Asian Restaurant is scheduled to open on December 1st.
Restaurants at the Marriott are open, reservations are required.HRG concierge can help you set up your breakfast, lunch, or dinner time.
In Jacó, (beach town 10 minutes from the Resort) many restaurants such as Graffiti (fusion cuisine), El Hicaco (international cuisine), El Novillo Alegre (steak house), Amancio’s (Italian) are back with their brilliant food offerings. Floor markings, hand sanitizer stations, outdoor dining, staff trained to use effective protocols to keep us all safe are some of the efforts this lovely beach town is making to welcome you all. All restaurants offer takeaway and deliveries.
In addition, we have some new restaurants in town: Hartley Ranch Steakhouse, Pesca Seafood, Hola India, Via Dell’amore are some of the new restaurants located at the famous Jacó Walk.
Located beachfront: Koko’s, El Point, Mahi Mahi, Tangerí, Tiki Bar, Clarita’s, and Vida Hermosa. All with outdoor seating for al fresco dining, offering local flavors, traditional costarican dishes, seafood, all with a Pura Vida beach vibe.
