You are here

Manuel Antonio National Park is Costa Rica's most popular, and famous, national park. Its 3 square miles are home to an amazingly diverse collection of plants, birds, and animals. At the entrance, you’ll have a chance to see giant bamboo, beach almond trees, sloths, and more. The park’s easy trails lead to white sand beaches where you can enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Pacific. Fun for the entire family, the monkeys are friendly and will come right up to say hello. Be aware though; they love to steal backpacks! They are, of course, searching for food.

A fun day trip for the entire gang, HRG’s concierge can arrange transportation and even bring along a picnic lunch and drinks to set up in a secluded spot, under the almond trees, on the beach. Alternatively, after a long morning in the park,  if you don’t want to do a picnic there are several nice restaurants outside the park.

Manuel Antonio is full of gorgeous jungle-meets-ocean views, lovely little restaurants and bars, art galleries, souvenir shops, canopy tours, and more; a great day trip for everyone, it’s a must-do experience during your stay at Los Sueños Resort.
