Fishing Report August 17- September 2, 2013
By Sharon Mora
Here is the fishing report for the last few weeks. Hope you enjoy!
On August 17 SPANISH FLY reported 1 marlin, 2 sails 2 roosters, 16 groupers and 3 tuna. That same day SUPER FLY had 2 marlin, 5 sails and 2 dorados.
Last Friday Captain Michael Alligood and his crew caught couple wahoo, several small yellow fin tunas, lots of bonitos, a cubera snapper and a roosterfish; they also jumped off a very large black marlin inshore.
This past weekend HOO´S YOUR DADDY caught, yellow fin tuna, dogtooth, tuna, cubera and snapper, and Monday they raised 12 sails had 8 bites and released 5.
Last, but certainly not least, this past weekend I finally went out fishing with my girlfriend Kiara Chemilli and the crew of the beautiful MISS BEHAVING! During our two and a half days of fishing we released 9 Blue Marlin. We broke three off and straitened out two, but we had 19 bites and raised 22 blue marlins. I couldn’t ask for a better time with friends practicing world class fishing and with such professional crew it was paradise within paradise.
I want to thank you, David Finkelstein, for being such a great host and for letting me be part of this experience!
