The Montebello Community is quite unique in that it is only home to 24 units that are situated within 4 buildings, a uncommon situation which affords exclusivity and a peaceful atmosphere within Los Sueños Resort. Positioned within the Altamira Community, just above the Marina, the Montebello Condos are housed in the most exclusive neighborhood in the area.
With gorgeous infinity pools that plunge one down into the other via crashing waterfalls, each building has its own, making it feel as though the pool is nearly private.
This beautiful condominium boasts a 3 bedroom, 3 bath floor plan with 2,550 square feet of living space. It features custom designed wood cabinetry in the kitchen and the bathrooms, ceramic tile throughout, and tropical Tommy Bahama style furnishings. The open concept kitchen flows into the dining and living areas, which feature floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open on to an expansive, covered deck which enjoys sumptuous views of the resort, hills and marina beyond; the spacious terrace is filled with comfortable furnishings for lounging about, and sits perfectly above the crashing sounds of the infinity pool waterfalls below.
With only few units in the community, you will rarely be bothered as you look out across the resort and relax in the cool waters of the three pools Altamira features.
What our customers are saying
Upon arrival at the condo I gave myself a tour of all the rooms. They were all spotless. All the sheets were pressed and clean, bathrooms were stocked, towels and other amenities were all there. The bed I was sleeping in was a little stiff but was still comfortable. The view from the balcony was stunning and sunset is a must see.
HRG booked all of our excursions. There were a few instances of miscommunication, hence the very good rating. Ultimately though those were very minor and did not diminish the experience at all. All the tours were amazing. tips on the tours. The trekking tour is not for folks who are not use to hiking hilly terrain, dirt was loose but we saw some things in the park that your average tourist would never see. My brother and I were the first people to do the trek all year.
Tortuga Island was a great way to just relax and enjoy the beach. It is a 2 hour boat ride to the island and once you are there you get a few hours on the island which you can snorkel, jetski, ride the banana boat and kayak. Some locals show up on the island one of which offers freshly caught oysters which were delicious. There was also someone selling coconuts as well.
Tortuga Surf Camp is one of the best surf schools in Costa Rica. The instructors all know what they are doing and in the off season teach athletes from volcom and burton how to surf. The instructors are very friendly and make it easy to start surfing. Keep in mind they are busy and December is the high season so book early! The aTV tour was fun. I recommend taking the 2 or 3 hour tour. you really get out in the mountains and get to see some spectacular views with those tours.
The horse back tour was spectacular. you really get a sense of the local culture. If you are daring enough you can jump off a small ledge on the waterfall. It is quite exhilarating. also be aware of belt clipped electronics. one of the people on the tour lost there phone in the water.Adventurous1 (Denver CO)
